TRANSLATION:

The subject of this section are those coins with Polish legends that were minted for exclusive circulation within the Kingdom of Poland from 1815-1841.

TRANSLATION:

As is known, coins with Russian-Polish legends, as well as coins with a Russian legend struck at the Warsaw mint, are listed in the publications: "Coins of the Reign of Emperor Nicholas I" and "Coins of the Reign of the Emperor Alexander II".

TRANSLATION:

Those few additional documents that are found here concerning Russian coins are published to supplement the material included in the aforementioned two publications.

TRANSLATION:

It is also our duty to note here an error which we have found in "Coins of the Reign of the Emperor Nicholas I".

TRANSLATION:

The series of copper coinage of 32-rouble standard minted in Warsaw in 1852 is absent from both the tables and the descriptions.

TRANSLATION:

These coins are not rare and do not differ in any way from the coins of this type of the preceding and subsequent years.
