Вследствие такого повеления, передел золотой и серебряной монеты производился на банковском дворе с начала января 1800 г. по 1-е февраля 1801 г. 1-го января 1801 г. именным Высочайшим указом Монетный Департамент, со всеми зависящими от него местами, передан в полное ведомство и распоряжение президента Алябьева.

TRANSLATION

Following this command, from beginning of January 1800 until February 1st, 1801, remake of gold and silver coins was made at the bank’s premises. On January 1st, 1801 supported by the highest decree, the Monetary Department with all its affiliations was transferred under control of the new president Alyabyev. 

Алябьев предложил принять Банковский двор в  ведение Монетного Департамента, и передел монеты с самого принятия производился там, под ведомством этого Департамента, даже по 22 октыбря 1805 г., а с того времени, по установке в крепости монетных паровых машин Болтона, передел происходил в крепости (Докум. Императора Александра I, No.24). 

TRANSLATION

President Alyabyev suggested merging Bank’s coin minting facilities into the Monetary Department. Starting from the delivery and acceptance of coins, the process of remaking them continued there until October 22, 1805, under management of this department. From that point, and following installation of Bolton’s steam machines, all restriking continued at the fortress. (Document Emperor Alexander I, No.24).

Анненский монетный двор закрыт по Высочайше утвержденному докладу Сената 5 сентября 1798 г. (Докум. No.28).

Колыванский и Екатеринбургский монетные дворы действовали в течение всего царствования Императора Павла I.

TRANSLATION

The Anninsk mint was closed under Highest ....... ........ Senate on September 5, 1798 (Document No.28). However, the Kolyvan and Ekaterinburg mints operated throughout the reigh of Emperor Paul I.

На С.-Петербургском монетном дворе, до открытия действия Банковского монетного двора, приготовлялась серебряная и золотая монета.

 TRANSLATION

The St. Petersburg mint was minting silver and gold coins before the Bank mint was start operating.

Before the Bank mint began operating, both silver and gold coins were minted at the St. Petersburg mint.

Золотая монета подверглась изменениям вскоре после вступления на престол Императора Павла I. Последние червонцы Императрицы Екатерины II были приготовлены одного веса и достоинства с голландскими, т.е. 94 пробы. Указ 2 декабря 1796 г. (Докум. No.5) постановляет бить золотую банковую монету 94 ²/₃ пробы.

TRANSLATION

Gold coins were altered as soon as the reign of Emperor Paul I had begun. The last Chervonetzs of Empress of Catherine II were struck with the same weight and value as Dutch ones 94 fineness etc. The Ukaz from December 2, 1796 (Document No.5) declares the striking of gold bank coins with a fineness of 94 2/3.

Chervonetzs coins minted during last years of Empress Catherine II were struck with the same weight and value as Dutch gold coins, namely 94 percent pure. Issued on December 2, 1796 decree (Document No.5) specifies that striking of gold bank coins must be 94 2/3 percent pure.
