TRANSLATION

At the end of the book there are 22 Tables which depict all the coins of the reign of the Emperor Alexander I that are known to the best expert of Russian numismatics Christian Christianovich Giel, and to myself.

На первых 18 помещены по годам все подлинные монеты этого периода, а на последних 4-х новодельные монеты и сомнительные, т.е. такие, о которых мы не можем с уверенностью сказать. современные ли они, или чеканенные в последствие. К сомнительным монетам можно отнести и большинство пробных рублей, а также некоторые медные монеты С.-Петербургского монетного двора, помещенные на первых таблицах.

TRANSLATION 

The first 18 Tables depict all of the original coins of this period, while the last 4 Tables show novodels and coins about which we have doubts, those we cannot be sure if they are modern (should this be modern? or contemporary/original.  -SM) or were minted later. To the coins of doubtful age belong the majority of pattern roubles, and a few copper coins of  the St. Petersburg mint from the first plates. 

Кроме того, здесь нашли себе место: недоконченный пятак (No 378), выбитый не раньше 1803 г. и не позже 1808, как это можно заключить по его лицевой стороне, и два жетона, отчеканенные штемпелями лицевой стороны гроша (2 коп.) и денежки; последний был приготовлен также из серебра.

TRANSLATION

Besides these, also brought together here are: an unfinished 5 kopeck (No. 378), struck not earlier than 1803 but not later than 1808 (as can be concluded from the obverse), and two jetons minted using obverse dies of 2 kopeck and 1/2 kopeck coins; the latter was also struck in silver.

Hаконец, на дополнительных таблицах помещены такие новодельные монеты, которые в подлинниках не существуют или рисунки которых значительно отличаются от настоящих.

TRANSLATION

Finally, the supplemental Tables depict those novodels which do not exist as originals and the design of which would be significantly different from an original.

К последнему разряду принадлежат медные монеты Колыванского монетного двора (К.М.), чеканенные в позднейшее время. Подробные сведения, о всех новодельных монетах Колыванского монетного двора, отчеканенных (в сороковых годах) для Герцога Максимилиана Лейхтенбергского (см. предисловие к книге  «Moнеты Императора Павла І» будут помещены в выпуске, посвященном монетам Императрицы Екатерины ІІ.

TRANSLATION

To the last type belong copper coins of the Kolyvan Mint (K.M.) minted in the latest time(?). More detailed information regarding ovodel coins of the Kolyvan Mint and produced in the 40st (1840s? -SM) for Duke Maximilian Leichtenberg (see foreword to a book "Coins of the Emperor Paul I" will be placed in the issue, dedicated to coins of Empress Catherine II (Steve, in russian text is something missing so much - it does not make sense at all, pls check, valentini). (Valentin...I checked...page seems OK. Where does it look wrong?)
